Terms of Service

All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and include applicable taxes where required. Payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. Your card is charged at checkout; we receive confirmation of payment but never your card number.

We reserve the right to cancel an order and issue a full refund if we cannot fulfill it (for example, a renderer failure that cannot be resolved within 48 hours).

After a successful payment you will receive an email containing a link to your order page. From there you can download your map file using the email address you provided at checkout.

Download links are served via time-limited signed URLs. If your link expires, return to your order page and request a new one. Order records are retained for 3 years; contact us after that period for a re-render.

Digital downloads are licensed for personal, non-commercial use only. You may print the file for yourself or as a personal gift. You may not resell, redistribute, or use the file commercially without written permission.

Because digital goods are delivered immediately upon payment, digital orders are non-refundable once the file has been rendered and made available for download.

Physical posters are printed and shipped by our fulfillment partner Printful. Estimated production time is 2–5 business days; shipping times vary by destination.

If your print arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 14 days of delivery with a photo of the damage and your order number. We will arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you.

We do not accept returns for buyer's remorse on physical orders once the item has entered production.

Digital orders: Non-refundable once the file has been rendered and made available for download.

Physical orders: You may cancel within 1 hour of purchase before the order enters production. After that, cancellations are not possible. Damaged or defective items are replaced or refunded — see Physical Prints above.

Map tiles are sourced from MapTiler and OpenStreetMap contributors, both licensed under the ODbL. Attribution to these data sources is included on each rendered map.

The maporize application, branding, and design system are our intellectual property. You may not reproduce or imitate the service.

You retain ownership of the personal text you add to your map design (location names, dates, messages). By placing an order you grant us a limited license to store and render that text solely for fulfilling your order.

The service is provided "as is". We do not warrant that renders will be pixel-perfect matches to in-editor previews on all displays, though we take reasonable steps to ensure WYSIWYG accuracy.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of maporize is limited to the amount you paid for the order giving rise to the claim.
